MARCH GLADNESS 2021 UPDATE

Thank you to April Malik (Thai to Go), the committee, and all the Rotarians for the support and many hours invested in March Gladness Meals-To-Go/Gala Nonevent.   Theresa Schreiner, Children's Home Foundation,  shared that we raised around $7,700 for net on the meals and TOTAL PROCEEDS for the Gala Nonevent with donations will be about $29,000. Pretty AMAZING.  A great example of service above self!!

DISTRICT POP UP GRANT - TECHNOLOGY
Our Club was  awarded $2,000 under a Pop Up Grant.  The purpose of this grant is to empower local clubs to retain and grow membership during and after the COVID-19 pandemic through public image campaigns, media outreach, and technology to hold meetings and facilitate outreach and engagement.  Our club submitted an application for equipment (technology) to improve our ability to hold hybrid meetings.  Specifically we will be purchasing a new laptop and OWL PRO (projector/speaker).  Dana is anticipatiing in-person meetings in May/June for those wishing to attend with the capability to continue to log in by zoom.
