Our speaker today was Francine Fortune, Executive Director, SunCatcherTherapeutic Riding Academy. They are a non-profit that provides inclusive equine-assisted therapeutic horsemanship guided by experienced instructors that empowers people with disabilities to flourish and thrive. They have been in the Black Hills for 22 years, located by the Rapid City Airport. Their programs facilitate the unique connection between horse and human to help people with special needs, autism, mental health issues and now are working with veterans. With a 99% volunteer staff they are able to help 70+ people every year. They depend on word of mouth so check them out and pass the word.
