Several Rotarians attended the school assembly and presented $500 to start up the RCHS Spirit Store.

We had a great turnout with a local youth softball team helping at Feeding South Dakota Tuesday 11/15.

 

  

 

 

Members and friends of Rushmore Rotary joined Hope Haven, OST Community Health, and Rotary members from Sioux Falls West, Sioux Falls Downtown and Tyndall in wheelchair distribution and fitting on the Pine Ridge Reservation.  Rushmore Rotary members also visited the Whiteclay Makerspace and Red Cloud Heritage Center.

Our newest member, Rick Edelen, was welcomed into the club today.

Rick is happily married to his lovely wife of 30 years, Rachel.  They have two children, Seth 22, and Max 19. Both attend college at USD.

Rick was employed in the pharmaceutical industry for the past 25 years. 24 years with Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company. Currently he is embracing retirement and enjoying this new stage of his journey. His hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, snow skiing and enjoying live music.  He recently completed a 78 mile backpack trip on the Centennial Trail.  This was a great experience and got to see some of the Black Hills he has never seen before. He is excited to become a Rotarian.  We are excited to have you Rick, welcome!!

 

 

  

 

The November social at Pour 54 was well attended and a great time with great food and plenty of beers to try.
