Today was Rotary day. Erin Erickson completed the new Member checklist and received her official Rotary badge.
Member Carmen Hansen gave a classification talk. Her classification is event coordinator. She joined the Vucurevich Foundation in 1993 organizing their highly successful speaking tours. She is from SD and is a club past president, she serves on the youth advocacy committee and is the district membership chair.
Terri Davis, Rotary Foundation Chair, gave a foundation update.
Rushmore Rotary has 87 donors, 59 Paul Harris Fellows, 9 benefactors, 4 bequest society, 10 major donors, 15 Paul Harris Society members, 51% contribute to Every Rotarian Every Year.
The district 5610 raffle is May 13, 2025 at our regular meeting. The funds support grants that are awarded throughout our district. You can purchase raffle tickets by scanning the above QR code. If you’re referring sales to the site make sure they note your club.
District Governor Bruce Nearhood gave us a district update. Rotarians need to engage the next generation to be Rotary leaders. We should also focus on doing more service projects. Our public image is our brand, and focus on commitment, communication, and coaching.
